This is a beautiful SILVER hamsa PENDANT from Morocco. It measures just over 2" (5,2 cm) long and 1 1/8" (2,8 cm) wide. This piece is an exact replica of an old pendant that was (and still is) very popular in Berber and Arab jewelry from the Imperial Cities of Fes, Meknes and Rabat. The hamsa pendant is from a unique original and has the look of great wear and age. It has an had an antique-look patina applied, which shows the detailed decorations. These are individually hand cast and each one varies slightly, in good keeping with tradition.
